¼ cup Butter                                               3 Eggs, beaten

2/3 cup Sugar, packed                                 1 tsp. Vanilla

¼ tsp. Salt                                                  ½  recipe Basic Pie Crust

¾ cup dark Corn Syrup                                1 cup Pecan Halves



1.       Cream Butter and Sugar together until fluffy.


2.       Add the next 4 ingredients.


3.       Line an 8” pie pan with the Pie Crust Dough;  sprinkle with the Pecans.


4.       Pour the Filling over the Pecans.


5.       Bake in an oven which has been preheated to 450 degrees for 10 minutes.


6.       Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer or until a

knife  inserted in the center comes out clean.




            Yield:   6 –  8 Servings
